What is a Water Level Controller?

A water level controller is an electronic system that monitors the water level inside a storage tank.

It automatically switches the motor ON when the water level becomes low and switches it OFF once the tank is full.

This automation helps save water, reduces electricity consumption, and protects the pump from damage caused by dry running.

How It Works?

Automatic pump ON: The system switches ON the pump when the water level in the overhead tank drops below a preset level such as 25%, 50%, or 75%.

Automatic pump OFF: The system switches OFF the pump automatically when the overhead tank becomes completely full (100% level).

Sump low-level protection: The pump switches OFF when the water level in the sump, well, or borewell becomes too low.

Sump minimum level detection: The pump restarts automatically once sufficient water is available in the sump, well, or borewell.

Dry run protection: The system switches OFF the pump during dry-run conditions when water is not being delivered to the overhead tank.

Water level indication: Displays 4 water level indicators for the overhead tank and 3 level indicators for the underground sump.

Status indication: Shows pump ON status, water flow status, and fault indications for easy monitoring.

Manual reset feature: Allows manual pump operation using the reset button and automatically switches OFF when the overhead tank becomes full.

Voltage protection: Includes low-voltage and high-voltage protection for enhanced motor safety.

Surge protection: Protects the pump system from surge voltage and current fluctuations.

Fully automatic operation: All functions are performed automatically without manual intervention.

Manual operation mode: Manual control is also available whenever required using the manual operation switch.
